At Shady Side Academy, we count on the parent/child relationship to help our students move forward feeling completely supported. It is one of the reasons the Blue & Gold Fund Parent Volunteer Program is so important to the daily operations of our campuses. The involvement of our parents is essential to the success of what we do as academic leaders in the community.

As a Blue & Gold Fund parent volunteer, you'll partner with the Alumni & Development Office to ask fellow parents to join you in supporting SSA.

Parent 2 Parent Fundraising Volunteer Program 

The Parent-2-Parent Fundraising program is designed to allow Shady Side Academy parent/guardian volunteers to work at their own pace while fundraising for the Blue & Gold Fund. 

Volunteers will be given a list of prospective Blue & Gold Fund donors to contact on their own time throughout the school year. The Alumni & Development Office will schedule monthly phone call meetings with individual volunteers to track their progress. The program gives volunteers the opportunity to connect with other parents while helping the Academy meet its annual goal of $2.2 million for the Blue & Gold Fund.
