Country Day School offers several programs after the regular school day ends as a convenience to families and to provide extra time for children to interact socially in a supervised environment.
A variety of programs meet the needs and interests of a broad range of students and families.
Offerings include supervised play and homework time, athletics, arts, academics and more.

Stay & Play serves JPK, SPK and kindergarten students whose parents want their children to remain at school beyond the length of the regular school day. Stay & Play students participate in outdoor and indoor play, arts and crafts, games, reading, snack time and other playtime activities.
Stay & Play is offered in two sessions, 12-1:30 p.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m. The fee is $15 per session. JPK and SPK students, whose school day ends at noon, can participate in one session until 1:30 p.m. or both sessions until 3:30 p.m. Kindergarten students, whose school day ends at 1:30 p.m., can participate in one session until 3:30 p.m.
After Stay & Play ends at 3:30 p.m., students may join the After-School Program (see below) until 5:30 p.m. if desired.

The After-School Program (ASP) is available to all students in grades JPK-5 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. every full day that school is in session. ASP Students participate in outdoor and indoor play, games, reading, snack time and homework/quiet time. The fee is $20 per session.

Enrichment programs are designed for all students in grades JPK-5. Offerings include a variety of activities such as art, sports, science and interest-based activities. These programs begin at the end of the school day at 3:30 p.m. Some programs are offered seasonally, while others are offered weekly throughout the length of the school year.
