Shady Side Academy Country Day School in Fox Chapel serves a coed population of approximately 160 elementary school students from pre-kindergarten (age 3) through grade 5. Our spacious 17-acre wooded campus is located in the Fox Chapel suburb of Pittsburgh.

We provide a nurturing environment, age-appropriate curriculum, small class sizes and a wide variety of classroom and outdoor activities to inspire happy, active learners.

We purposefully maintain an intimate environment and relaxed atmosphere. We strongly believe that our small class sizes allow every child to be cared for by every faculty member on their educational journey.
