At Shady Side, learning is filled with wonder, joy, and discovery. In this virtual session, you’ll hear how SSA teachers expertly leverage nurturing relational teaching, one-of-a-kind learning environments (a treehouse!? Frick Park!?), and small classes to match student energy, grapple with infinite questions, and take on the world together.

Upper School (Grades 6–12)

Discover how Shady Side Academy’s Middle and Senior Schools bring learning to life. Through immersive, interdisciplinary signature experiences and real-world opportunities, students connect ideas across subjects and explore their passions in authentic ways. In these sessions, our admissions experts will introduce you to some of the exciting and unique programs Shady Side offers, and you’ll hear reflections from parents, teachers, and students about how our close community helps young people discover their passions and prepare for meaningful futures.
