Two Shady Side Academy students will be performing in the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's annual holiday production of The Nutcracker, held Dec. 2-23, 2011, at the Benedum Center. Eleventh-grader Miriam Adams is playing the part of Chinese, while fifth-grader Sonya Hammer is a penguin and carousel rider.
