At its meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 4, Allegheny County Council voted in favor of renaming Pittsburgh's 16th Street Bridge in honor of Pittsburgh native and Shady Side Academy alumnus David McCullough '51. McCullough is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and historian, and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
