Shady Side Academy junior Keaton Baum has been named to the 19th Maccabi USA Juniors Ice Hockey Team and will represent the United States in the 2013 Maccabiah Games on July 18-30, 2013, in Israel. Baum was one of 18 players selected from a group of 58 Jewish ice hockey players who attended U.S. team tryouts in Philadelphia in August 2012.

The Maccabiah Games take place every four years in Israel are are often called "the Jewish Olympics." The games feature more than 5,000 Jewish athletes from 60 different countries, competing in more than 30 sports. To learn more, visit www.maccabiusa.com.
