Allegheny County Community Level Moves to High Category
Yesterday, Allegheny County's COVID-19 Community Level moved from Medium to High. The CDC recommends the following prevention steps for residents of counties in the High category: wear a mask indoors in public; stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines; and get tested if you have symptoms. (Additional precautions may be needed for people at high risk for severe illness.) With all of the year-end events and celebrations that lie ahead, we encourage SSA community members to weigh these recommendations when making decisions about masking, vaccines and testing over the next two weeks, as we look to end the 2021-2022 school year on a positive note.
Thank you and enjoy the long holiday weekend!
Sincerely,
The SSA Health & Safety Team
