Dear Shady Side Families, After more than 18 months, Shady Side's Senior School dramatists are finally returning to the Hillman Center stage. Tonight marks the first performance of She Kills Monsters, a dramatic comedy about a teenage girl who finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in an imaginary world inspired by her late sister's love for Dungeons and Dragons.* The opportunity to perform once again has been so compelling that more than 30 Senior School students (and one Academy President!) have signed on to be part of the cast and crew.
Please consider coming to see one of the following performances: • Thursday, Nov. 4, at 6:30 p.m. • Friday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m. • Saturday, Nov. 6, at 2 p.m. • Saturday, Nov. 6, at 7:30 p.m. • Sunday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m.
Performances will take place in the Peter J. Kountz Black Box Theater inside the Hillman Center for Performing Arts, located on the Senior School campus.
Tickets are $12 for students and $15 for general admission and can be purchased online at www.shadysideacademy.org/theater. Tickets also may be purchased at the door; however, advance purchase is recommended as shows may sell out.
Glory to Shady Side! Best,
