Recaps & Good News Jan. 14, 2021
Dear Shady Side Community,
After a long, restorative winter break and on the heels of last week's testing and distance learning protocols, we are so pleased to be back in full swing with students and teachers reconnecting on campus once again.
I want to offer special thanks to everyone at Shady Side who contributed to our successful first run with universal COVID-19 testing, especially the health and safety team that stood in the cold for two days administering tests and ensuring all went smoothly for families. We were pleased with the results and certainly learned a lot through the process. We are all so fortunate to be at a school with the resources and capacity to have pulled something like this off.
The past few months have been such a busy and productive period at Shady Side — it has even been tough for the President's Office to keep up with it all! So please take some time to review below all the good news and exciting happenings. Despite the challenges we are all facing, there is just so much to be excited about right now at SSA!
Woof-woof, Bulldogs! And Glory to Shady Side!
Best,
Bart Griffith '93 President
