Tonight: Pandemic Perspectives from SSA Alumni

The SSA Alumni & Development Office is pleased to invite you to this live Zoom webinar tonight, June 24, at 5 p.m. EDT. Alumni panelists Dr. Curt Beckwith '88, Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Lance Ruttenberg '86, President/CEO at American Textile Company, and Lisa Scales '78, President & Chief Executive Officer at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, will discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected their organizations and what they have done to help.

Faculty Panel Discussion Recording

On Thursday, June 11, SSA hosted the live Zoom webinar From Bricks & Mortar to Distance Learning: A Faculty Perspective. Junior School Physical Education Teacher Karen DiFiore, Country Day School Third Grade Teacher Laura Grief, Middle School English Teacher Lauren Cannon and Senior School English Teacher Adam Janosko discussed their journey from the traditional classroom to distance learning. Faculty members Cari Batchelar, Gene Deal, Kyle Smith, Matt Weiss and Sue Whitney also joined the discussion. View the recording here.
