Recaps & Good News April 2, 2020
Dear Shady Side Community,
Our Zoom dashboard tells us that, by this afternoon, we will crest 1,000 total virtual meetings since the start of the SSA Distance Learning Plan. Considering we have only had three days of online school so far, this data point shows us just how meaningful the relationships and connections at Shady Side are to the entire community and the people that bring our mission to life. And, as an indication of our increasingly rich diversity, we have boarding students logging in to Zoom from across the country and around the world, from China, Canada, Spain, Germany, Vietnam and the U.K. just to name a few.
All the best,
Bart Griffith '93 President
