Shady Side Academy Alumna Elizabeth Giel '09, a pharmacy manager at CVS Health in New York City, was recently awarded the CVS Health Paragon Award for her hard work and leadership.

The CVS Health Paragon Award recognizes the best-of-the-best among CVS Health colleagues who embody the core values of the company and who deliver direct care to patients and customers. It is the highest employee recognition given by CVS Health.

Giel says Shady Side helped to prepare her as a team player and is thankful for "my Pittsburgh roots, where hard work is the only option."
