Join us for the Second Annual Killian 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, July 27, starting at the North Park Boathouse. All participants registered by July 8 will receive a one-of-a-kind Killian 5K T-shirt.

The event will raise money for the Killian Patrick Cavanaugh Memorial Scholarship Fund at Shady Side Academy. The fund will annually honor a Shady Side Academy student/athlete who best exemplifies Killian's qualities and spirit to help keep his legacy alive.

Killian was a 2016 SSA graduate who was attending the University of Chicago when he passed away following a brief illness. He was a football and baseball player, an avid scholar, a wonderful artist and true friend to all who knew him.
