Make this your first stop on campus. The Alumni Tent is where alumni and their guests can check in, get their bearings, and get oriented for the weekend ahead. Connect with classmates, take a moment to settle in before the weekend unfolds, and pick up your campus map and welcome kit that includes all of the necessities for the weekend—including spirit items to help you cheer on Shady Side during Saturday’s athletics match-ups!

Meet at check-in and registration to join a walking tour of Rockwell Middle School. See the new 50,000 square foot space and hear about how Shady Side’s Middle School faculty and students are leveraging this new, innovative facility!

Enjoy one of Pittsburgh’s most familiar independent school matchups. This is a chance to watch a longstanding field hockey rivalry continue on our home field. Find a spot in the stands and be part of the energy as the Bulldogs take on Ellis.

Join us on the pitch as the Bulldogs take on Chartiers Valley. This is a chance to see the girls' teamwork and energy on full display in a home setting. Settle in along the sideline, connect with fellow families and alumni, and take in a match that showcases the momentum of the girls soccer program.

The Shady Stride invites alumni, families, and friends onto the William “Mac” McConnel Cross Country Course for a relaxed run or walk through a setting that has shaped generations of SSA athletes. Whether you are reconnecting with teammates or simply taking in the course at your own pace, it is an energizing way to be part of the day. Registration takes place in person the morning of the event, so plan to arrive early to check in and be ready for the 10:30 a.m. start.

Take a campus tour led by a Senior School student ambassador and glimpse what it’s like to be a Shady Side student in 2026. The tour will begin with the new Rockwell Middle School and continue across the Upper School Campus, offering a student-led perspective on the spaces and experiences that define daily life.

Reunion Classes from 1951–1976 are invited to watch the Football game from the upstairs Press Box in Michael J. Farrell Stadium.

Fill the stands, bring the noise, and be part of the energy as the boys football team takes the field against the Yough Cougars. Show up in your SSA blue and gold and bring your school spirit as we cheer the team on to victory!
