Shady Side Academy is proud to announce that Laurence P. ’26 has been named a recipient of a National Merit $2,500 Scholarship.

The prestigious scholarship recognizes outstanding high school seniors for their academic achievement, leadership, and extracurricular involvement. The 2,500 winners were selected based on their academic records, PSAT scores, essays, and accomplishments both inside and outside the classroom. Laurence was chosen from a highly competitive pool of more than 15,000 finalists nationwide. Laurence plans to attend Stanford University this fall, where he will study economics and computer science.
