School Name

In November, Shady Side Academy senior Neyla H. and freshman Richard M. were selected to the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 1 Honors Band. 

PMEA is a statewide nonprofit organization of more than 5,000 members, dedicated to promoting the musical development of all Pennsylvanians. Each year, they bring together the best musicians from more than 550 Western PA schools for the Honors Band. PMEA promotes and supports quality music education, learning and performance as well as promoting and supporting music education in schools and communities.
