Seven members of the Shady Side Academy varsity football team received 14 postseason honors in the WPIAL Class 3A Allegheny Six Conference for the 2022 season, including four players who earned honors at more than one position and two players who earned individual awards. Players received their awards at the conference banquet on Wednesday, Dec. 7.

The Bulldogs' football team is a co-op between Shady Side Academy and The Neighborhood Academy, and the 2022 honorees included six SSA students and one TNA student:

• SSA senior Joey Bellinotti - First Team Wide Receiver, First Team Defensive Back, Co-Most Valuable Defensive Player of the Year, All-Purpose Offensive Player
• SSA senior James Bernier - First Team Inside Linebacker, Second Team H-Back
• SSA senior Patrick Bryan - First Team Outside Linebacker
• SSA senior Nate Ewell - First Team Offensive Tackle, Second Team Defensive End, Most Valuable Offensive Lineman
• SSA senior Noah Yeh - Second Team Offensive Tackle
• SSA junior Nate Mallory - Second Team Wide Receiver
• TNA senior Naziim Daniels - First Team Kick Returner, Second Team Defensive Back
