Senior School Science Olympiad Team Finishes 3rd at SOAPS Invitational
The Senior School Science Olympiad Team finished in 3rd place out of 33 teams in Division C (Grades 9-12) at the Science Olympiad at Penn State (SOAPS) Invitational on Saturday, January 19. Three student teams earned first-place finishes in their events.

- Ethan H. and Jefferson W.: 3rd Place for Chemistry Lab
- Evan X. and Ethan H.: 3rd Place for Ecology
- Andrew X. and Tania L.: 4th Place for Astronomy
- Cecilia C. and Sissi Z.: 4th Place for Write It Do It
- Tania L. and Ethan H.: 5th Place for Dynamic Planet
- Jefferson W. and Thomas W.: 5th Place for Forensics
- Tania L. and Dominic P.: 5th Place for Geologic Mapping
- Tania L. and Kiran T.: 6th Place for Entomology
Science Olympiad is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of K-12 science education, increasing male, female, and minority interest in science, creating a technologically literate workforce, and providing recognition for outstanding achievement by both students and teachers.
