On Sunday, Feb. 27, Shady Side Academy alumnus and professional jazz musician Craig Davis '90 hosted a workshop for the Senior School Jazz Combo in the Hillman Center for Performing Arts.
During the workshop, the combo was able to polish its repertoire for the upcoming Winter Concert on Tuesday, March 8. The two pieces they worked on were Desafinato and Joy Spring. Student musicians included seniors Andy Marous and Angela Xue, juniors Sloane Simon and Louis Ye and sophomores Caden Green and Hari Viswanathan.
The Jazz Combo is directed by Senior School music teacher Stan Nevola.
