Shady Side Academy rising sophomore Morgan Golden is collecting donations of used child- and adult-sized sunglasses or eyeglasses to benefit the nonprofit organization Project Theia. Through Project Theia, the glasses will be donated to underprivileged children and adults in underserved global communities.

Donation dropboxes are located at the front door of the McIlroy Center for Science and Innovation on the SSA Senior School campus, at Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve in Fox Chapel, and at the Pearle Vision eye care center in the Waterworks shopping center.
