Shady Side Academy will host the Educated by Design PGH meetup, a professional development workshop for PK-12 educators and educational leaders featuring "The Tech Rabbi" Michael Cohen, on Monday, Dec. 2, from 4-5:30 p.m.

The event will take place in the new Glimcher Tech & Design Hub on the SSA Senior School campus, located at 423 Fox Chapel Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15238. Admission is free but spots are limited and advance registration is required.

Michael Cohen, known as The Tech Rabbi, is a designer and technologist turned educator. As a speaker, writer and creativity instigator, he's on a mission to help young people develop the creative confidence they need to become challenge seekers and solution designers. Cohen shares his story of design and creativity through social media, keynote addresses and featured talks on international stages, including ISTE, SXSW EDU, Congreo Mexico, EdTechTeacher Summits and Apple Education events.
