SSA Student Artwork Featured in Regional K-12 Ceramic Exhibition

Six Shady Side Academy Senior School visual arts students currently have artwork on display at the Regional K-12 Ceramic Exhibition, which is being held in conjunction with the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) conference in Pittsburgh.The juried exhibit showcases ceramic artwork from students in grades K-12 from schools across Western Pennsylvania.

The one-week show is now on display at the Indian Community Center, located at 205 Mary Street in Carnegie. A reception will be held at the Indian Community Center from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 16, and the show will remain on display through 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 17.

Participants from SSA include juniors Max Farner, Paige Golden, Connor Leemhuis and Josie Szlachetka, sophomore John Salvitti and freshman Melissa Riggins.
