Shady Side Academy sophomore swimmer Maeve Kelley won medals in both of her events at the 2020-2021 PIAA Class 2A Girls Swimming Championship, held Friday, March 19, at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg, Pa.

Kelley won a silver medal for placing second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:03.22, and earned a fifth-place medal in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:54.66.

Kelley advanced to the state championships after winning gold medals in both events at the WPIAL Championships on March 6.
