For the second straight year, Shady Side Academy seventh grader Jack Engel is performing in the cast of the Pittsburgh CLO's annual holiday production of A Musical Christmas Carol at the Byham Theater in downtown Pittsburgh from Dec. 7-23, 2018. Jack plays the roles of Cratchit Child, Match Boy and Ignorance in the show. Learn more and buy tickets.
A holiday treat for the entire family, A Musical Christmas Carol is Charles Dickens' classic story of Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and a host of colorful characters, featuring favorite yuletide melodies and dazzling special effects, and starring Broadway's Richard Thomas as Scrooge.
Jack previously appeared in the Pittsburgh CLO productions of The Full Monty in 2018 and A Musical Christmas Carol in 2017. He also appeared in the SSA Middle School's winter musical, Peter Pan Jr., in 2018 and Opera Theater Pittsburgh's The Magic Flute. He attends the Pittsburgh CLO Academy.
