The Shady Side Academy Senior School Service Learning Club sponsored a virtual food drive from Dec. 7-18. Through the generous donations of the SSA community, the club twice surpassed its fundraising goal, first of $500, then to $1,000, to raise a total of $2,686.52 for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. The funds will provide up to 13,432 meals for those in western Pennsylvania experiencing food insecurity.

Congratulations to the Service Learning Club and Faculty Advisor Lindsey Myers and thank you to all who donated!
