On Saturday, Feb. 22, the Senior School Science Olympiad team competed at the Penn Invitational, held at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, finishing 12^th out of 54 teams in Division C (grades 9-12). The following students earned top six finishes in their events:

• Jason Wu and Ishika Arora: 4^th for Astronomy
• Andrew Liu and Parker Maivald: 5^th for Forensics
• Jack Hathaway and Prayag Vemulapalli: 3^rd for Ping Pong Parachute

Science Olympiad is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of K-12 science education, increasing male, female and minority interest in science, creating a technologically-literate workforce and providing recognition for outstanding achievement by both students and teachers.
