Professional Metals Artist Virtually Visits Senior School Art Class

Roy Gialamas ParlourOn Tuesday, May 5, metals artist Roy Gialamas Parlour virtually visited Cari Batchelar's Senior School 3D Studio Art class via Zoom to talk about her work and life as a professional artist.

During the class, Parlour demonstrated a functional candle snuffer piece and a tambourine sculpture make of bottle caps and various found objects.

Parlour's work is exhibited in the Carnegie Museum of Art and in museums and in private collections internationally. She is a native of Pittsburgh.
