On Tuesday, May 5, metals artist Roy Gialamas Parlour virtually visited Cari Batchelar's Senior School 3D Studio Art class via Zoom to talk about her work and life as a professional artist.
During the class, Parlour demonstrated a functional candle snuffer piece and a tambourine sculpture make of bottle caps and various found objects.
Parlour's work is exhibited in the Carnegie Museum of Art and in museums and in private collections internationally. She is a native of Pittsburgh.
Thank you for visiting, Roy!
