Pittsburgh Glass Center instructor and local artist Jason Forck visited the Senior School on Friday, Sept. 7 to speak to students about his work as well as the classes and workshops available at the Pittsburgh Glass Center.

Forck is the creative projects and education manager at Pittsburgh Glass Center and has exhibited his glass art across the United States and locally, including large blown-glass sea pods at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. He is currently working on glass pendant lights for use in development projects in East Liberty.

Forck shared examples of his work and looked at the students' work, which included glass blowing, flame working, molding and jewelry.
