MS Eighth Grade vs. Faculty Knockout Tournament

On Friday, March 13, the Shady Side Academy Middle School held the annual Knockout Tournament. Faculty and eighth graders enjoyed friendly competition before leaving for spring break. The competition starts with eighth grade girls playing Knockout at at one end of the gym while eighth grade boys play at the other end. Once the teams are down to 10 girls and 10 boys, faculty members join and the competition. The final two contestants were Terrance Grate and Amir Awais, with Terrance winning the overall competition. His name will be added to the tournament plaque. This event was the last time the eighth graders were all together before the campus closure and distance learning went into effect.
