Junior School Fifth Graders Visit Lutherlyn
The Junior School's fifth grade class traveled to Lutherlyn, a camp near Butler, Pa., on Friday, Sept. 8, for a day of team-building and leadership activities.
The weather cooperated for the group and the students tried low-rope and circle challenges as they problem-solved together. The students discussed the importance of listening to each other, cooperating together, remaining open to suggestions, encouraging peers and being inclusive.
After a picnic lunch, the students had a great time rock climbing before heading back to school.
The fifth graders will return to Lutherlyn in the spring for an overnight science field trip, and they are already looking forward to sleeping in cabins!
