Clara McCormick, a junior goalkeeper for the Shady Side Academy field hockey team, was named to the 2018-2019 Junior U.S. Women's National Indoor Field Hockey Team following a camp held this past weekend in Spring City, Pa. The team will have six training weekends through the summer and fall and will travel to Europe over New Year's to compete in an international tournament.

McCormick earned All-WPIAL honors last fall as part of the SSA team. Last summer she played in China at the U-18 Chinese Junior National Championships with the WC Eagles.
