Girls Tennis Team Advances to WPIAL Finals
The Shady Side Academy girls tennis team defeated Peters Township, 4-1, at North Allegheny on Wednesday, Oct. 17, in the semifinals of the WPIAL Class AAA Team Tennis Championship.
SSA advances to face defending league and state champion North Allegheny in the WPIAL finals on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m.
SSA is seeking its sixth WPIAL team title, having won the league trophy in 1993, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010.
