Edible Artist Jasmine Cho Visits Junior School Kindergarten
On Thursday, May 10, the Junior School kindergarten classes enjoyed a visit from Korean-American artist Jasmine Cho, an edible artist who runs an online bakery called Yummyholic. Cho's approaches to her pastries are edible pieces of art. She shared her artistic talents with the students in a presentation, explaining how she expresses different cultures in her cookie designs. Cho also wrote and illustrated a book about Asian Americans that she read to the class. Lastly, the students had the chance to design their own cookies with icing - yum!
