Boys Lacrosse Closes Out Season in PIAA First Round
On Tuesday, May 30, the Shady Side Academy boys lacrosse team fell 7-6 to State College in the first round of the PIAA 3A Boys Lacrosse Championship at Cumberland Valley High School.
Shady Side took an early 3-1 lead, but State College rallied to pull ahead 4-3 at the half and led 7-4 heading into the fourth quarter. SSA tried to mount a comeback and brought the game within one goal with five minutes left, but could not tie it up before time expired.
