Boys and Girls PIAA Swimming Championship Results

The Shady Side Academy boys swimming team earned eighth place and won medals in three events at the 2018-2019 PIAA Class AA Championships at Bucknell University on March 13-14.

Medals are awarded to the 1st-8thplace finishers in each event, while 9th-16thplace are place-winners.

"I was incredibly proud of our swimmers this season," said Head Coach John Landreth. "They were determined to improve and worked daily to make that happen. If you had told me in the fall that we would have two medal winning relays on the boys side and have a relay qualify to states on the girls side, I would have been very excited to watch that process! Looking back, it has been a very rewarding year for many reasons."
