The College Board's Advanced Placement Program (AP) provides willing and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while in high school and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on AP Exams. AP Exams are administered each year in May and represent the culmination of college-level work in a given discipline in a high school setting. The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students' performance on AP Exams, which are scored on a scale of 1-5.

Three students earned the National AP Scholar Award, granted to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams: 2020 graduate Qilin Ye and seniors Andrew Liu and Qingqing Zhao.

Nine students earned the AP Scholar With Distinction Award, given to students who earn an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams: 2020 graduate Qilin Ye; seniors Andrew Liu, Jason Vasko, Xinran Wang, Zewei Wu, Nicholas Zana and Qingqing Zhao; and juniors Steven Liu and Anker Zhao.

Six students earned the AP Scholar With Honor Award, given to students who earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams: 2020 graduates Cameron Casey, Vishnu Gosai and Ahmer Shaikh; and seniors Caroline Green, Renee Long and Xinru Yang.
