Ultimate Frisbee Players, Coach Receive PHUL Awards
Shady Side Academy ultimate frisbee players and recent graduates Erin Vanetta, Tiffany Wu and Dev Weiss, along with head coach Matt Weiss, all received awards from the Pittsburgh High School Ultimate League.
Vanetta was named the PHUL Girls Division I Player of the Year, while Wu was named the MVP of the Girls Division I Finals. Vanetta, Wu and Dev Weiss were all named to the PHUL All-City teams as well. Girls and boys head coach Matt Weiss was named the PHUL Boys Division II Coach of the Year.
