Girls Basketball Closes Out Historic Season in PIAA Quarterfinals
The Shady Side Academy girls' basketball team closed out a historic season with a 54-21 loss to River Valley in the quarterfinals of the PIAA Class 3A Championships on Friday, March 17, at Armstrong High School. Freshman Karis Thomas led SSA with 9 points.
The Bulldogs finish the 2022-2023 season with a 25-4 overall record, a section title and the program's first-ever trip to the state quarterfinals.
