The Shady Side Academy girls and boys lacrosse teams closed out their respective 2022 seasons on Saturday, June 4, in a state quarterfinal doubleheader at Chambersburg High School in Chambersburg, Pa.
The SSA girls lacrosse team lost to District 3 third-place finisher Wilson, 11-7, in the quarterfinals of the PIAA 3A Girls Lacrosse Championship. The Bulldogs wrap up the 2022 season with an 18-4 overall record and the program's third straight WPIAL Championship.
The SSA boys lacrosse team fell to defending state champion and District 1 champion Radnor, 10-7 in the quarterfinals of the PIAA 3A Boys Lacrosse Championship. The Bulldogs close out the 2022 season with a 17-6 overall record and the program's second WPIAL Championship.
