Throughout the month of October, Country Day School students in Laura Greif's third grade class and Katie Schaefer, Karen DiFiore and Allie DiFiore's kindergarten classes organized a school-wide party supply donation drive to benefit Beverly's Birthdays.
Country Day School students and families generously donated more than 75 bags of cake mix, icing, candles, tablecloths, cups, plates and napkins for the nonprofit organization, which provides birthday celebrations for Pittsburgh-area children experiencing homelessness and for families in need. The CDS students are so excited to help make birthday celebrations possible for children who otherwise might not have them.
