Head Coach Emily Schaknowski
Emily Schaknowski joins the coaching staff at SSA as the head varsity girl’s lacrosse coach. Emily is a native of Wading River, New York. She is a 2011 graduate of the University of Delaware where she earned her degree in Health and Physical Education with a minor in Coaching Science. She was a four-year member of the women’s lacrosse team at Delaware where she earned all league honors all four years. She is now teaching health and physical education at the Senior School.
Assistant Coach Heidi Wall
Heidi Wall is excited to join the SSA girls lacrosse program, bringing with her more than seven years of coaching experience. She has coached both field hockey and lacrosse at Deerfield Academy and North Yarmouth Academy. Coach Wall graduated from Amherst College, where she was a lacrosse captain and Regional and Academic All-American. While at Amherst, Coach Wall also broke the all-time scoring record. She is a teacher in the math department at the Senior School.
