Head Coach Paul Ejzak '89
Paul S. Ejzak '89 has been coaching the Cross Country team since 1997. Coach Ejzak took over the head coaching reigns in 2007 from Mr. William O' McConnel, who had coached the team since 1967, making SSA's Cross Country team the only athletic program in Pittsburgh with more coaching stability than the Steelers. Under Ejzak's tenure, the Cross Country team has won several section championships and has advanced both a team and individuals to the PIAA Championship meet. More importantly, Coach Ejzak works daily to engender an esprit de corps for his squad, celebrating what every member contributes to the team. In addition to coaching, Coach Ejzak teaches English at the Senior School.
