SSA Website
The SSA website has private sections for parents and students accessible only by login. Parents will receive their login credentials via mail in early July. Students in grades 3-12 will receive their login credentials on the first day of school.

TADS
Student billing is handled online through TADS, giving you access to your student account 24/7 on TADS’ secure website. New families will receive an email from the Business Office by the end of May with instructions to set up an account. TADS billing includes:

  • Tuition
  • Books and supplies
  • Activity fees
  • Parents' Association dues and event fees
  • Overdue fees

MyPaymentsPlus
Meals are purchased using MyPaymentsPlus, which has an online portal and iOS app. New families will receive a letter from the Business Office in August with instructions to set up an account for each student enrolled at SSA.

Camp Brain
Camp Brain is the online registration program used by SSA summer and auxiliary programs. Parents can set up an account if and when they register for these optional programs.

Transportation Services

Transportation services to SSA take two forms:

  1. publicly funded school district buses
  2. privately contracted by the school

These services make it possible for SSA families to be served from diverse locations in Allegheny, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland counties.

  • Download and print one packet per child enrolled at the Junior School.
  • These forms are mandatory unless otherwise noted in the upper right-hand corner.
  • Some forms must be completed by a physician.
  • IMPORTANT: Physical and health history forms are REQUIRED for students to participate in school. Students missing these forms will not be permitted to begin classes in the fall.

PA law requires adults to complete paperwork to volunteer at any school functions. There are two types of volunteers:

  1. Limited contact volunteer (parents helping at events with faculty present)
  2. Substantial contact volunteer (parents alone with students with NO faculty present)

Please complete the appropriate form prior to volunteering and submit to:

Final Transcript Release Form

Please download and send the Transcript Release Form to your child’s current school to request that a final transcript, complete with final grades for this year, be sent to SSA. These transcripts will become part of your child’s permanent record at the Middle School and are required to begin classes.

Submit a Directory Photo

Due: July 1
The Senior School has a student, faculty and staff photo directory called Names & Faces that is sent to all students in the beginning of the school year. New students are asked to:

  1. Email a RECENT headshot photo as an attachment. Include name and graduation year.
  2. JPG file, high resolution; vertical format.
  3. Do not downsize file to a smaller “email or web-friendly” size.
  4. School photos from the previous year are acceptable.

ImPACT Testing

SSA will offer ImPACT concussion baseline testing the week of August 8-12, 2016, in the Hunt Hall computer lab. The ImPACT test is mandatory for incoming freshmen, juniors and new Senior School students prior to participation in athletics. Three 45-minute sessions are offered each day with 20 slots per session. Please sign your child up for a time slot prior to the start of school and fall preseason. The test is required to participate in any athletic practice or competition. For students not participating in fall athletics, there will be testing make-up days prior to the winter and spring seasons.
