Oct 2-11 WB Yeats pp. 1190-1200

Oct 12-20 Robert Frost, all poems pp. 1227-1245

Oct 23-27 Marianne Moore, all poems pp. 1328-1336

Oct 30-Nov 7 T.S. Eliot, 1340-1360

Nov 8-14 assorted poems

Requirements: Everyone is to keep a notebook. You need to keep class notes, nightly analytic journal entries and assorted writings in it. This will not be graded. Each student needs to speak in class every day during the discussions. Three essays will be required.

Essay #1 Analysis of one Emily Dickinson poem. Due date- Sept 25/27

Essay #2 Due Oct 23/25

Essay #3 Due Nov 6/8

Final Exam 15 November
