Shady Side Academy senior Kerry Broker and sophomore Amanda Zeng have been selected to play in the first violin section in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 1 Senior High School Orchestra Festival, which will be held at Moon Area High School on Jan. 26-28, 2017.

PMEA is a statewide nonprofit organization of more than 5,000 members, dedicated to promoting the musical development of all Pennsylvanians. The organization promotes and supports quality music education, learning and performance as well as promoting and supporting music education in schools and communities.
