Three Shady Side Academy varsity field hockey players – senior midfielder Caroline Benec, sophomore forward Abby Todd and junior forward Eliza Worrall – were named to the All-WPIAL Class A field hockey team. The 11-player honor team was selected by the sport's coaches. The SSA team, which finished as the WPIAL Class A runner-up, is coached by Brooke Kerschbaumer '91.
