Girls Soccer Team is PIAA Runner-up
For the first time in school history, the Shady Side Academy girls soccer team finished as the state runner-up, falling to Fairfield, 9-4, in the finals of the PIAA Class A Girls Soccer Championship.
On Friday, Nov. 18 at Hershey Park Stadium in the PIAA finals, sophomore Krystyna Rytel earned a hat trick and freshman Nina Singh scored for SSA. The team finished the season 19-4.Congratulations to Head Coach Mary Lynch and the team on an outstanding season!
