On Wednesday, Oct. 11, the Shady Side Academy boys varsity golf team competed in the IPSL Tournament at the Fox Chapel Golf Club. The tournament included Shady Side Academy, Western Reserve Academy, The Kiski School and The Linsly School.

Each team played five golfers, with the top four scores taken in the 18-hole stroke play tournament. SSA won with a score of 322 and reclaimed the trophy after a win by Western Reserve Academy last year. The medalist for the tournament was SSA senior captain Frankie Fuhrer, who shot a 73. Other scores for SSA were freshman Adam Lauer with a 76, sophomore Brice Delaney with an 81, sophomore Patrick Walsh with a 92 and senior Patrick Ellis with a 93.
