On Friday, December 07, 2007, the second grade was treated to a special guest speaker. Sue Whitney who is a teacher at the Senior School and the mother of second grade student Weezie McVeagh came and shared her experiences from Malawi with the students. Sue lived in Malawi for four years while she was in the Peace Corps. The students were treated to a story about Galimotos (wire cars), beautiful slides of people places and animals of Africa , and a plethora of African artifacts. Zikomo Sue!!
